DVDParental Settings 73The Parental feature prevents viewing of DVDs that exceed your rating limits.This feature will not limit viewing if the DVD is not rated or coded. Checkyour DVDs and settings before letting children access the TV/VCR/DVD.Follow these steps to set the Parental Level.● Before you begin, press SELECT to put the TV/VCR/DVDin DVD mode. The green DVD light will appear on the frontof the TV/VCR/DVD.1 Press SET-UP once so the TV/VCR SETUP Menu appears.2 Press SET-UP again while playback is stopped.3 Press s or B to select CUSTOM at the top of the menu,then press ENTER.4 Press s or B to select (PARENTAL),then press ENTER.● If this is the first time to access the Parental Menu, proceed tostep A.● If this is not the first time to access the Parental Menu and youhad already set the password before, proceed to step B.AThe display shown below will appear.Press the Number buttons to enter a 4-digit password.The password will appear on the screen.
