Before you begin, press SELECT to put the TV/VCR/DVDin TV/VCR mode. The red VCR/TV light will appear onthe front of the TV/VCR/DVD.1 Press SETUP.2 Press or to select V-CHIP SET UP.Press B.ACCESS CODE_ _ _ _3 Press the Number buttons to enter the accesscode. The default code is 0000 (if you have not setup your own code yet).4 Press or to select TV RATING. Press B.– V-CHIP SET UP –B TV RATINGMPAA RATINGCHANGE CODE When you select TV-Y7:Press or to select FV (Fantasy Violence, vio-lence that seems realistic to young children). Then,press B to select BLOCK or VIEW. When you select TV-PG, TV-14, or TV-MA:Press or to select “D” (Suggestive Dialog),“L” (Coarse Language), “S” (Sexual Situation), or“V” (Violence). If PROTECTEDappears on the screen, changeto a channel that is not protect-ed (blocked).• You cannot BLOCK a subrating(D, L, S, or V) if the main cate-gory is set to VIEW.
