5ENGLISHAdditional safety warnings1. Intended useThis tool is intended to cut wood productsonly. Accumulated sawdust on the lower guardand hub from other materials may effect theproper closure of the lower guard which could leadto serious personal injury.2. Use extra caution when cutting damp wood,pressure treated lumber, or wood containingknots. Maintain smooth advancement of tool with-out decrease in blade speed to avoid overheatingthe blade tips.3. Do not attempt to remove cut material whenblade is moving. Wait until blade stops beforegrasping cut material. Blades coast after turn off.4. Avoid cutting nails. Inspect for and remove allnails from lumber before cutting.5. Place the wider portion of the saw base onthat part of the workpiece which is solidlysupported, not on the section that will fall offwhen the cut is made. If the workpiece is shortor small, clamp it down. DO NOT TRY TO HOLDSHORT PIECES BY HAND!6. Before setting the tool down after completing acut, be sure that the guard has closed and theblade has come to a complete stop.7. Never attempt to saw with the circular sawheld upside down in a vise. This is extremelydangerous and can lead to serious accidents.8. Some material contains chemicals which maybe toxic. Take caution to prevent dust inhala-tion and skin contact. Follow material suppliersafety data.9. Do not stop the blades by lateral pressure onthe saw blade.10. Do not use any abrasive wheels.11. Only use the saw blade with the diameter thatis marked on the tool or specified in the man-ual. Use of an incorrectly sized blade may affectthe proper guarding of the blade or guard opera-tion which could result in serious personal injury.12. Keep blade sharp and clean. Gum and woodpitch hardened on blades slows saw andincreases potential for kickback. Keep blade cleanby first removing it from tool, then cleaning it withgum and pitch remover, hot water or kerosene.Never use gasoline.13. If operating time has become excessivelyshorter, stop operating immediately. It mayresult in a risk of overheating, possible burnsand even an explosion.4. If electrolyte gets into your eyes, rinse themout with clear water and seek medical atten-tion right away. It may result in loss of youreyesight.5. Do not short the battery cartridge:(1) Do not touch the terminals with any con-ductive material.(2) Avoid storing battery cartridge in a con-tainer with other metal objects such asnails, coins, etc.(3) Do not expose battery cartridge to wateror rain.A battery short can cause a large currentflow, overheating, possible burns and even abreakdown. |
