Switch triggerCAUTION: Before installing the battery car-tridge into the tool, always check to see that theswitch trigger actuates properly and returns tothe “OFF" position when released.To start the tool, simply pull the switch trigger. Toolspeed is increased by increasing pressure on the switchtrigger. Release the switch trigger to stop.NOTE: The tool automatically stops if you keep pull-ing the switch trigger for about 6 minutes.NOTE: While pulling the switch trigger, any otherbuttons do not work.Lighting up the front lampCAUTION: Do not look in the light or see thesource of light directly.► Fig.4: 1. The lamp goes out approximately 10 secondsafter releasing the switch trigger.To keep the lamp off, turn off the lamp status. To turn offthe lamp status, first pull and release the switch trigger.And then press the button within 10 seconds.To turn on the lamp status again, press the buttonagain similarly.NOTE: When the tool is overheated, the light flashesfor one minute, and then the LED display goes off. Inthis case, cool down the tool before operating again.NOTE: To confirm the lamp status, pull the trigger.When the lamp lights up by pulling the switch trigger,the lamp status is ON. When the lamp does not comeon, the lamp status is OFF.NOTE: Use a dry cloth to wipe the dirt off the lens ofthe lamp. Be careful not to scratch the lens of lamp, orit may lower the illumination.Reversing switch action► Fig.6: 1. Changing thedirection of rotation before the tool stops may dam-age the tool.CAUTION: When not operating the tool,always set the reversing switch lever to the neu-tral position.This tool has a reversing switch to change the directionof rotation. Depress the reversing switch lever from theA side for clockwise rotation or from the B side for coun-terclockwise rotation.When the reversing switch lever is in the neutral posi-tion, the switch trigger cannot be pulled.Changing the application modeWhat's the application mode?The application mode is the variation of the drivingrotation and impact which are already preset in the tool.By choosing a suitable application mode depending onthe work, you can accomplish quicker work and/or morebeautiful finish.This tool features following application modes:Impact force• Max• Hard• Medium• SoftAssist type• Wood mode• Bolt mode• T mode (1)• T mode (2)The application mode can be changed by the button, , or the quick mode-switching button.► Fig.7: 1. ButtonBy registering a certain application mode to the tool,you can switch to the registered application mode byjust pressing the quick mode-switching button (quickmode-switching function).NOTE: When none of the lamp on the panel is lit,pull the switch trigger once before pressing the quickmode-switching button.NOTE: You will not be able to change the applicationmode if you do not operate the tool for approximatelyone minute.
