The tool may start uninten-tionally and cause injury.NOTICE: Do not pull the switch trigger hardwithout pressing the lever. This can cause switchbreakage.Press the main power button to turn on the tool. Thepower lamp lights up when the tool is turned on. To turnoff the tool, press and hold the main power button. Main power buttonNOTE: The tool is automatically turned off if the tool isnot operated for a certain period.To prevent the switch trigger from being accidentallypulled, a lever is provided. Removing the entangledbranches or debris by hand may cause an injury,since the shear blades may move in reaction toremoving them.This tool has a reverse button to change the directionof shear blades movement. It is only for removingbranches and debris entangled in the tool.To reverse the shear blades movement, press thereverse button when the shear blades have stopped,and then pull the switch trigger while pressing the lever.The power lamp starts blinking, and the shear bladesmove in reverse direction.When entangled branches and debris are removed,the tool returns to the regular movement and the powerlamp stops blinking and lights up.► Fig.7: 1. Reverse buttonNOTE: If the entangled branches or debris cannot beremoved, release the switch trigger, then press thereverse button, and then pull the switch trigger untilthey are removed.NOTE: If you tap the reverse button while the shearblades are still moving, the tool comes to stop and tobe ready for reverse movement.Adjusting the cutting angleCAUTION: Always be sure that the tool isswitched off before folding or unfolding the head.CAUTION: When folding the head for carryingthe tool or after using the tool, be sure to attachthe blade cover before folding the head.CAUTION: When folding the head, be carefulnot to pinch your fingers between the head andthe slide sleeve.For DUN500WThe angle of the head can be adjusted in 6 steps. Tochange the angle of the head, follow the steps below.1. Hold the head and the slide sleeve as shown inthe figure.► Fig.8: 1. Head 2. Slide sleeve2. Move the head while holding down the slidesleeve, and then release the slide sleeve.3. Move the head slightly until it is locked with a click.NOTE: Make sure that the head is securely lockedbefore operating the tool.
