21Crown molding stoppers (optional accessories) alloweasier cuts of crown molding without tilting the sawblade. Install them on the base as shown in the figures.Position crown molding with its WALL CONTACT EDGEagainst the guide fence and its CEILING CONTACTEDGE against the crown molding stoppers as shown inthe figure. Adjust the crown molding stoppers accordingto the size of the crown molding. Tighten the screws tosecure the crown molding stoppers. Refer to the table(C) for the miter angle.6. Cutting aluminum extrusionWhen securing aluminum extrusions, use spacer blocksor pieces of scrap as shown in the figure to preventdeformation of the aluminum. Use a cutting lubricantwhen cutting the aluminum extrusion to prevent build-upof the aluminum material on the blade.CAUTION:• Never attempt to cut thick or round aluminum extrusions.Thick aluminum extrusions may come loose duringoperation and round aluminum extrusions cannot besecured firmly with this tool.7. Wood facingUse of wood facing helps to assure splinter-free cuts inworkpieces.
