Take care when slotting.29. Replace the kerf board when worn.30. Do not use saw blades manufactured from highspeed steel.31. Some dust created from operation containschemicals known to cause cancer, birth defectsor other reproductive harm. Some examples ofthese chemicals are:• lead from lead-based-painted material• arsenic and chromium from chemically-treated lumber.Your risk from these exposures varies, depend-ing on how often you do this type of work. Toreduce your exposure to these chemicals: workin a well ventilated area and work with approvedsafety equipment, such as those dust masksthat are specially designed to filter out micro-scopic particles.32. To reduce the emitted noise, always be sure thatthe blade is sharp and clean.33. The operator is adequately trained in the use,adjustment and operation of the machine.34. Use correctly sharpened saw blades. Observethe maximum speed marked on the saw blade.35.
