2-11Bilge Drain PlugA T-handled brass bilge drainplug is located in the enginecompartment of all modelsexcept for the FlightcraftBarefooter. To access, lift themotor box and look aft of theski tow pylon and forward of the engine. On the SunsetterVLX the T-handle can be found by lifting the rear passenger seat. The T-handle is locatedjust below theV-drive unit. Be sure that both the transom and bilge drain plugs aresecurely in place before placing the boat in the water.Speedometer PickupsThe speedometer pickups arelocated on each side of theboat at the bottom of thetransom. The pressure appliedto these pickups determinesthe measured speed of theboat.Notice: Clean pickup tubes frequently to keep lake debris from lodgingin tubes. Debris can affect accurate reading from speedometergauges.Tilt Steering WheelThe tilt steering wheel allowsfor maximum driver comfort.To adjust the height of thewheel, simply press down onthe lever located under thewheel.
