Some models also have an insulated removable bag. Themelted ice will drain into the bilge area of your boat.SundeckMost boat models are equipped with a standard sundeckfeature designed for sunbathing comfort.The Sundeck is not to be used whilethe engine is running. Seriousinjuries or death could occur topersons not seated properly shouldthe boat come to an abrupt halt.Figure 2-26. Access allows the abilityto service the engine for required maintenance and foradditional storage on both sides of the engine.Ensure the hatches are securelylatched. Failure to do this could allowyour engine hatch door to open whileunder way causing damage to yourboat and others.Ski PylonThe patented, pivoting-head ski pylon is an aluminum post located directly in front of themotorbox. V-Drive models feature a telescopic version. Minimal maintenance is required,but once a year remove the swivel pylon head and re-grease with a high temperaturebearing grease. This will reduce wear.
