There are no user-serviceable partsinside the unit. Opening the unit will void your warranty.Do not connect the unit to a telecommunication outlet wired to unrelatedequipment. Making such a connection may damage the equipment and/orthe unit. Verify that the desired twisted pairs are not being used for otherLAN or telephone equipment.1. Use a dedicated 4-pair Cat5e/6 cable between the source and the receiver unit.2. Patch panels are compatible.3. Verify the wiring is “straight-through”, has 4 twisted pairs and has the standard EthernetRJ45 connector.4. Connect the 5V power supply to one side only. Any side can be used.5. Connect the unit to the audio source, either by coax source or optic. On the sourceside, select which type of input is used. Both sides can be connected but only one isused to transmit audio. At the receiver side both outputs will contain the samesignal.
