The Transmitter converts the HDMI signal to SDI and the Receiverconverts the SDI signal back to HDMI, supporting resolutions of 480i (SD-SDI),720p/1080i (HD-SDI) and 1080p (3G-SDI), and allows the user to benefit from anexisting coax cable infrastructure. The kit thereby enables conversion of the HDMI tothe SDI environment and vice-versa, and includes one (1) Transmitter and one (1)Receiver.ApplicationsApplications include commercial and residential AV systems, classroom projectorsystems, digital signage, boardroom systems, collaborative PC systems, and medicalinformation systems.Installation1. Identify the connectors on the Transmitter and Receiver as indicated on the productlabels. Reference the front and rear product views for further details.2. Verify that the distance between the Transmitter and Receiver is withinMuxLab specifications (see Specifications table).3. To install the Transmitter:3a. Connect the Transmitter to the HDMI video source with an HDMI compliantcable.3b. Connect one (1) length of RG-59 (or higher) grade coaxial cable to theRJ45 LINK connector on the Transmitter.
