09iVECTOR Installation4.4 Electrical ConnectionThe electrical installation of an iVECTOR should be carried outby a qualified electrician in accordance with current regulations.A fused electrical spur with a maximum 3A fuse and a switchhaving 3mm separation on all poles must be provided in an easilyaccessible position adjacent to the unit. The electrical cableshould be fed through the underside of the unit, into the controlbox on the right hand side using the cable gland provided. Thesupply cord must be 0.75mm² only. The live and neutral wiresare connected to the power board terminal connections and theearth wire to the chassis earth terminal. There is a built-in connection for use with Building ManagementSystems in all iVECTORs, however, this will require additionalwiring to the unit.Routing cable4.3 Water Connection - Pipe Routing OptionsThe iVECTOR has two pipes to connect – flow and return. Thispipework can be routed in one of two ways, either from the flooror through the wall at the back of the unit (see diagram below). Please note that the flow pipe must be connected to thebottom connection of the heat exchanger and the return pipeto the top connection.2-pipe connection83 -108* MAX* Dimension from chassis side to pipe centre.** For cooling, a condensate drain must be fitted to the condensate tray.Condensate tray**4.0
