When alanguage is chosen, it will become the default setting unless the DVDmedia overrides the settings.Select among English, French, Spanish, Swedish, German, Italian andRussian as the desired language setting.Select [Others] if the desired language is not on the list. When [Others]is selected, you will be prompted to enter the 4-digit language code.Refer to the section “Language Code List” in the “REFERENCE” page for thecorresponding 4-digit code of your chosen language.If you choose for the disc subtitle not to come up, select [OFF].ANGLE MARKAn angle mark display can be turned on or off when sequences recordedfrom different camera angles are played back.On : An angle mark is displayed continuously.Off : An angle mark appears for five seconds and then disappears.PBCSet Playback Control (PBC) to On or Off.On : Video CDs with PBC are played according to the PBC.Off : Video CDs with PBC are played the same way as Audio CDs.NOTES• This function is available only on Video CD and SVCD with playbackcontrol (PBC) feature.• Playback control (PBC) function can be directly turned ON or OFF bytoggling the MENU key of the DVD 9 remote control.TIME INTERVALThe duration for the slide display of JPEG files can be regulated by setting thetime interval.
