Contact your local Naimretailer for more information on selecting time servers.4.10 The Handset Keys MenuThe Handset Keys setup menuenables the UnitiQute inputsassigned to each handset inputselection key (Diagram 4.10.4) tobe changed, and the functionof the handset navigationkeys (Diagram 4.10.3) to beconfigured.4.10.1 Navigation Key FunctionsSelecting the Up/Down Actionsparameter from the Handset Keysmenu opens a further menu thatenables the selection from twomodes of handset up (5) anddown (6) key function: Input and Off. If Input is selectedthe keys will select inputs and if Off is selected the keys willbe disabled in respect of input selection.Selecting the Left/Right Actionsparameter from the Handset Keysmenu will open further menusenabling the configuration ofthe left (3) and right (4) keysindependently for the USB/iPod,Radios, and UPnP™ inputs. Theoptions available for the USB/iPodand UPnP™ inputs are Track, Listand Off. If Track is selected theleft (3) and right (4) keys willselect the previous or next track.If List is selected the keys willreturn UnitiQute to list mode, and if Off is selected the keyswill be disabled in terms of track or list mode selection.The options available for theRadios input are Station, Preset,List, and Off. If Station is selectedthe left (3) and right (4) keyswill select the next or previousstation. If Preset is selected thekeys will select the previous or next stored station preset.If List is selected the keys will return UnitiQute to list mode,and if Off is selected the keys will be disabled in terms ofstation, preset or list selection.4.9 The Clock and Alarm MenuThe Clock & Alarm setup menuenables the UnitiQute clock to beset and alarms to be configured.Selecting Set Weekday Alarmor Set Weekend Alarm opens amenu that offers the followingparameters and options:Parameter OptionsEnabled: Yes / No.Selecting Yesprimes thealarm. SelectingNo disables thealarm.Alarm Time: 07:00. Selecting the time opens a screenthat enables the alarm time to be set byusing the remote navigation (5 6 34) and numeric keys.Input: UnitiQute external inputs or radio presetscan be selected to become the alarmaudio source.Note: The UnitiQute radio can only be used as an alarmsignal using stored radio presets.Volume: 30. The alarm audio volume can be setindependently of the default UnitiQutevolume using the remote handset up (5)and down (6) keys.Weekday alarms operate on Mondays to Fridays. Weekendalarms operate on Saturdays and Sundays.Note: The UnitiQute has no default alarm tone and canonly use its external inputs or radio presets as alarmsignals. If the use of an alarm is critical, it is important to becertain that the alarm signal will be active when the alarmis set to sound. This is especially relevant to internet radiostations which may cease to broadcast unexpectedly.Selecting Adjust Time Zoneenables the time zone withinwhich the UnitiQute is locatedto be set. The handset up (5)and down (6) keys are used toselect + or – with respect to GMT(Greenwich Mean Time).Note: The UnitiQute clock does not adjust automatically totake account of localised “daylight saving” time changes.Use the Adjust Time Zone function to advance or retardthe clock as appropriate.Selecting Resync Time From Net enables the UnitiQuteclock to re-synchronise with its specified time server.Note: The UnitiQute clock re-syncs with its internet timeserver automatically every 24 hours.
