4UnitiQute Installation and Connection2.9.2 Wireless Network ConnectionIf UnitiQute is to connect wirelessly to the home networkthe supplied Wi-Fi antenna must be fitted to the rear panelwireless antenna socket. Wireless configuration will alsobe necessary before UnitiQute is able to connect to thenetwork. See Section 4.6.1 of this manual.2.9.3 Network SettingsUnitiQute is set up when originally shipped not to requireany on-site network configuration but to connect to anetwork automatically (it uses DHCP by default). However,if your UnitiQute has been previously used, its networkconfiguration may have been altered leaving it unableto connect automatically. If this appears to be the caseensure that DHCP is selected in the Network Settings menuand re-start UnitiQute. If problems still persist contact yourretailer, installer or Naim Audio directly. See Section 4.6.Note: Before reporting network connection problems carryout a Factory Reset operation and try again. Select ResetAll Settings from the Factory Settings setup menu. SeeSection 4.11.Note: A UnitiQute switched on without a working wirednetwork connection will only be able to connect toa home network wirelessly. To use an Ethernet (wired)connection, switch UnitiQute off, connect the network andswitch it on again.Note: For internet radio to operate UnitiQute requiresconnection to a broadband internet service via a router/modem with a built-in firewall.2.10 Control SocketUnitiQute is fitted on its rear panel with a standard RS232interface socket.
