If a failure occurs, a series of beeps and flashes of theGreen Status Indicator identify it. The number of beeps (flashes) identifies the problem.The problem indication is repeated continuously with a 3-second pause between eachindication series. Following the first problem indication, the beeps are turned off andonly the Green Status Indicator flashes to identify the problem.If the diagnostics identify a problem, you must have the scanner repaired. Refer toObtaining Technical Assistance on page 3.
