Flash lets an extension user take full advantage of whatever features the connected telco orPBX offers. You must set the Flash parameters for compatibility with the connected telephone company orPBX. By default, the Flash interval is 800 mS (.8 seconds).ProgrammingTo change the Flash interval:1. Enter the programming mode. You see:2. Enter 0402 + HOLD. You see:3. Press VOL Up until you see:4. Enter the new Flash value (in milliseconds) + Hold.5. Press CONF to exit program 0402.Feature Quick Steps1. Press FLASH (if applicable) + Dial the code for the desired CO/PBX feature.Group Call PickupEasily answer a call ringing your Pickup Group, even if you don’t know which extension is ringing.Group Call Pickup allows an extension user to answer a call ringing an extension in their assigned PickupGroup. This permits co-workers in the same Pickup Group to easily “cover” each other’s ringing calls. The usercan intercept the ringing call by dialing a code or pressing a programmed Group Call Pickup key. The systemhas a maximum of 8 Pickup Groups, with an unlimited number of extensions in each group. However, an exten-sion can be a member of only one pickup group. By default, the system has no Pickup Groups programmed.Group Call Pickup can answer the following types of calls:● Ringing Intercom calls● Transferred calls● Direct Inward Lines● Calls on trunks assigned to the Pickup GroupTo simplify picking up calls, an extension can have Programmable Function Keys assigned as Group CallPickup keys.
