Locate the Configuration jumper (J8E1) on the systemboard (see “Locating the Jumper” in the previoussubsection).4. If necessary, remove any installed expansion boards toaccess the jumper (see “Removing an ExpansionBoard” in Chapter 5).5. Remove the jumper block from pins 1-2 and set it onpins 2-3. We recommend that you use needle nosepliers to move a jumper.6. Replace the access cover (see “Replacing the AccessCover” in Chapter 5).7. Connect system power cables and monitor.8. Power on the system.The system enters Setup and the Maintenance menuappears. You can disable the user and administratorpasswords.If you removed the jumper, the system attempts torecover the BIOS. A recovery diskette is needed.9. Power off, unplug the system and monitor, and removethe access cover.10. Remove the jumper block from pins 2-3 and replace iton pins 1-2.
