Your system uses a coin-sizedbattery mounted on the system board (see the followingfigure). If it fails to maintain system configurationinformation, replace it with an identically rated battery fromthe same manufacturer.The battery type is a Renata or compatible 3V Lithium CR2032.! CAUTIONRemoving the battery from the system boardcauses the computer to lose system configurationinformation. Before removing the battery, run theSetup Utility and print out or write down your systemconfiguration settings. Then you can restore yoursystem to its previous settings.
