2-16 Setup UtilityHard Drive SubmenuThis submenu lists the system’s available hard drives. Your computer tries to boot to theoperating system on the first device listed on the Hard Drive submenu. If no operatingsystem is found, the system continues trying the drives in the order they are listed until anoperating system is located.To see a list of available drives, highlight this field and press the Enter key. You can selectthe boot device by pressing your keyboard’s + or – key. To exit from the Hard Drivesubmenu, press the Esc key.Removable Drive SubmenuThis submenu lists any available removable drives (if included). The operating systemassigns drive letters to these devices in the order listed. You can change the sequence (anddrive lettering) by highlighting this field and pressing the Enter key. Then press yourkeyboard’s + or – key to move a device up or down the list. To exit from the RemovableDrive submenu, press the Esc key.Removable Format SubmenuThis submenu selects the media format of any available removable drives (if included). Tochange the format, highlight this field and press the Enter key. From the RemovableFormat submenu, make sure the Hard Drive option is highlighted, then press the Enter key.Select either “Removable” or “Hard Drive” by pressing your keyboard’s + or – key, thenpress the Enter key. To exit from the Removable Format submenu, press the Esc key.Press the right arrow (cursor) key to move to the Exit Menu.EXIT MENUThe Exit Menu allows you to choose how to exit the Setup program. Press the arrow(cursor) keys to select the desired option, then press the Enter key to make your choice (oruse the arrow key to select another one). Exit Saving ChangesThis option exits the Setup program and saves your changes to the BIOS andreboots the system. Exit Discarding ChangesThis option exits the Setup program without saving your changes to the BIOS andreboots the system.
