For ease of installation these procedures shouldbe performed in the order presented in the following sections. Installationprocedures include procedures to be performed at the server and at themanagement PC.Server Procedures! Create a server system generation diskette (SG) containing essentialserver networking information.! Run the BIOS Setup Utility making the changes to BIOS necessary forserver acceptance of MWA support.Management PC Procedures! Install MWA software on the management PC.! Configure and register SG information within MWA at the managementPC.Creating a Server System Generation Diskette (SG)For the management PC to connect with a server, server system generation (SG)information must be configured and registered on MWA software running onthe management PC.In this procedure you will create a diskette containing your server's SGinformation. In the following section, you will register the SG information withMWA.1. Prepare a floppy disk, formatted with MS-DOS.2. Insert the EXPRESS BUILDER CD in the server’s CD-ROM drive, and boot theserver from the CD. The EXPRESS BUILDER menu displays.3. Select Custom Setup.4. Select System Management.5. Select Network Setup. The Network setup program starts.6. Insert the floppy disk prepared in step 1 into the server's diskette drive andpress the ESC key.
