The appearance of symptoms of virus infection can be delayed by havingthe system wait for a specific point in time, a specific period of time, or a specific number oftransaction executions. The virus may destroy programs, data, or other files or causes systems tooperate in a way not intended by the designers.To suppress the risk of damage to a minimum level, take proper measures such as a regularlyscheduled backup of important data.
