With Version 4000 or lower CPU software, the SV8100 had no alarmfunction for an IP address duplication. With this enhancement, the SV8100 is able to detect anotherdevice on the same subnet having an IP address that conflicts with those assigned to the CPU, IPLA/IPLB, and DSP resources to make troubleshooting easy when IP packets are not sent. With Version 7000 or higher software, the SV8100 can be configured to send an email notification ofa system event that causes a reset and DIMLast and DIMDump files to be created. The system canalso be configured to email the DIMLast and DIMDump text files by using the SMTP email settings inthe 47-18-xx programs and mounting a PZ-ME50-US to the CCPU. This enhancement requires theV7000 Enhancement License (0036) and Maintenance License (0043).
