Move the cookware from the active cooking zone toa different one.The cookware is detected. After a short delay, thedisplay will give you the option to adopt the presentsettings for the new cooking zone.2. Confirm settings.The settings are transferred to the new cooking zone.The initial cooking zone is deactivated.Notes■ When you next place the cookware in this position,the same settings will be used.■ Move the cookware only to a cooking zone that isnot switched on, that you have not yet preset or onwhich no other cookware has been placedpreviously.■ The PowerBoost or ShortBoost function can only bemoved from left to right or right to left if no cookingzone is active.■ If you move more than one item of cookware, thefunction will only be ready to use for the item ofcookware that was last moved.cFrying SensorFr y i ng Sens or This function can be used to fry food while maintainingthe suitable frying pan temperature.The cooking zones that have this function are identifiedby the roasting function symbol.Advantages when frying■ The hotplate only heats up if this is required tomaintain the temperature. This saves energy andprevents the oil or fat from overheating.■ The frying function reports when the empty fryingpan has reached the optimum temperature foradding oil and then for adding the food.Notes■ Do not place a lid on the pan. Otherwise, thefunction does not activate correctly. You can use asplash guard to prevent splashes of grease.■ Use suitable oil or fat for frying. If butter, margarine,extra virgin olive oil or lard is used, set heat setting1 or 2.■ Never leave a frying pan, with or without food,unattended when it is being heated.■ If the hotplate is a higher temperature than thecookware or vice versa, the frying sensor will not beactivated correctly.For frying with the frying sensorFrying pans that are perfect for using with the fryingsensor can be purchased from specialist retailers orthrough our technical after-sales service. Put thefrying pan in the centre of the hotplate.■ Using a frying pan of a different size or one that ispoorly positioned on the flexible cooking zones mayresult in the frying sensor not being activated. Seethe section on ~ "Flex Zone".■ Other frying pans may overheat. They may reach atemperature above or below the selectedtemperature setting. Try the lowest temperaturesetting to begin with and change it if necessary.
