Installing the appliance3.1 Choosing an installation locationThis appliance must be installed indoors, in a drylocation free of dust and debris.When choosing an installation location, youmust ensure that the location provides adequateclearance for the appliance (inculding ductwork),adequate venting and drainage options, andsufficient access to gas, water, and electricalsupplies. Carefully consider the following factorswhen choosing an installation location:Water qualityProper maintenance of the appliance is requiredto ensure that your water meets EPA qualitystandards. The following table shows the maximumcontaminant levels allowed, based on the EPANational Secondary Drinking Water Regulations(40 CFR Part 143.3).
