© by N&W GLOBAL VENDING S.p.A. 21 01-2016 4875 00DECAFF DISPENSING CYCLEWhen the machines are supplied (whenever the decafffunnel is available), the decaff flap is lockedAs required by the location, you may decide to unlockthe flap in order to be able to pour decaffeinated coffeeor alike manuallyIt is necessary to make sure that no other type of prod-ucts is poured.A magnet arranged on the flap for pouring decaff coffeewill signal to the machine by means of a sensor on thedoor that the flap has been opened.The following message will flash on and off on the dis-play:DecaffThe selections based on decaffeinated coffee are dis-pensed without acting on the grinder.The brew cycle is the same as the espresso coffee cycle.If the decaff dispensing cycle is cancelled before dis-pensing, the “decaffeinated” pre-selection is cancelled.The machine will rotate the brew unit to discharge thedecaff power that has been poured.Fig. 191- Flap opening signal magnet2- Decaff flap3- Decaff funnel4- Decaff funnelMILK DISPENSING CYCLEAs soon as the drinks are required to be prepared withmilk, the steam solenoid valve is opened (EVVAP) andthe milk pump activated.Milk is heated and emulsified with air.At the end of the selection, a small hot water quantity(opening of the ELAV solenoid valve) is conveyed to themilker nozzle for a partial wash cycle.A partial wash cycle is not intended to replace thenecessity to disassemble the milker nozzle for sani-tising purposes regularlyCONTROLLING AND ADJUSTINGSETTINGSTo achieve the best results compared with the product inuse, it is recommended to check:- The used coffee dose shall be slightly compressed andmoistened.- The granulometry of ground coffee- The coffee dose of ground coffee- The dispensing temperature- The water dose.
