A. Once the rough opening has been prepared, and the power has been routed to the right side of therecess, the appliance may be installed.B. The electrical connection must be made prior to sliding the appliance into place. (See "HARDWIRING INSTALLATION" section). Slide the appliance into the wall.C. To secure the appliance to the wall, remove the glass door (See "GLASS DOOR REMOVAL ANDINSTALLATION" section) and log / grate / ember bed (See "LOG, GRATE AND EMBER BEDASSEMBLY REMOVAL" section).D. Level the appliance and use the 4 screws provided to secure the appliance to the wall studs, refer toFigure 3..E. Install the brick panels (See "BRICK PANEL INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL" section), log /grateand ember bed assembly and the glass door to the appliance.NOTE: In order to avoid the possibility of exposed insulation or vapour barrier coming in contactwith the appliance body, it is recommended that the walls of the appliance enclosure be "fi nished"(ie. drywall/sheetrock), as you would finish any other outside wall of a home. This will ensure thatclearance to combustibles is maintained within the cavity.Prepare rough in framing following the recommended dimensions in Figure 1.
