The Touch Auto-write option is also available on the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-SERIESkeyboards. See section Using the Touch Strips for more information.Example of UseTouch Auto-write can be very handy if a parameter already has some modulation recorded inthe Pattern, and you want to re-record modulation for this parameter, this time at a constantvalue:▪ With Touch Auto-write disabled (and in previous MASCHINE versions), you have to con-stantly rotate the Knob to ensure that the old modulation events are actually replaced bythe new ones. To simulate a new constant modulation value, you had no other choice thanslightly rotate the Knob incessantly around the desired value.▪ With Touch Auto-write enabled, you just need to keep a finger on the Knob: The currentmodulation value is recorded in new modulation events as long as you touch the Knob, au-tomatically replacing any old modulation events at these positions.2.6.8.4 Zoom and Scroll OverlaysSince MASCHINE 2.0, when your MASCHINE STUDIO controller is in particular modes, youcan use Knob 5 and 6 to respectively zoom and scroll horizontally through the content shownin the right display.
