59Recording and Viewing MoviesRecording a Time-Lapse MovieThe camera takes pictures at a specified intervals to create a silent movie with a framerate of 30 frames per second and a frame size of 640 × 480. The maximum recordingtime is 35 seconds (1,050 frames).Notes on Time-Lapse Movies• Recording will end automatically when the battery is exhausted. When recording movies, usingthe optional EH-62A AC adapter kit is recommended.• Take a test shot and check the results before recording time-lapse movies.• When shooting, do not rotate the mode dial.• The monitor automatically turns off and the power lamp blinks between frames to save powerand turns on immediately before the camera takes the next shot.Highlight Time-lapse movie inMOVIE OPTIONS menu (P.56) andpress d.Highlight option and press d.Set option and return to the MOVIEOPTIONS menu.Return to Movie shooting screen.
