50Automatic Shooting of a Smiling FaceAutomatic Shooting of a Smiling FaceShooting in Smile ModeThe camera detects a smiling face to shoot the face automatically.1 Enter smile mode by pressing theA button in shooting mode andtapping a.2 Frame a picture.Point the camera at the subject.If the camera recognizes a face looking toward the camera,the face will be framed by a yellow double border in thefocus area, and when the face comes into focus, thedouble border will glow green for a moment and the focuswill be locked.Up to three faces can be detected. When the camera detects more than one face, theface closest to the center of the frame is framed by a double border and the others bysingle borders. When a face framed by a single border is tapped twice, the camerafocuses on the position indicated by tapping the touch panel.3 The shutter is automatically released.If the camera detects that the face framed by the double border is smiling, the shutter isautomatically released.When the camera detects a face, the self-timer lamp (A 4) blinks.
