There are twoautofocus (AF) modes, in which thecamera focuses automaticallywhen the shutter-release button ispressed halfway, and one manualfocus mode, in which focus must be adjusted manually using thefocusing ring on the lens:Choose single-servo AF for landscapes and other stationarysubjects. Continuous-servo AF may be a better choice witherratically-moving subjects. Manual focus is recommended whenthe camera is unable to focus using autofocus.Option DescriptionSSingle-servoAFCamera focuses when shutter-release button is pressedhalfway. Focus locks when in-focus indicator (I) appearsin viewfinder, and remains locked while shutter-releasebutton is pressed halfway (focus lock).
