Check that the display in theviewfinder is in focus before shooting.1 Turn the camera on.Remove the lens cap and turnthe camera on.2 Focus the viewfinder.Rotate the diopter controluntil the viewfinder display,focus points, and AF areabrackets are in sharp focus.When operating the dioptercontrol with your eye to theviewfinder, be careful not toput your fingers or fingernailsin your eye.A Adjusting Viewfinder FocusIf you are unable to focus the viewfinder as described above, rotate theAF-area mode selector to K (single-point AF) and the focus modeselector to S, then frame a high-contrast subject in the center focuspoint and focus using autofocus. With the camera in focus, rotate thediopter control until the subject is clearly focused in the viewfinder.
