108NFocus Point SelectionThe camera focuses using 153 focus points, ofwhich 55 shown at right can be selectedmanually, allowing photographs to becomposed with the main subject positionedalmost anywhere in the frame. Follow thesteps below to choose the focus point (in group-area AF, you canfollow these steps to choose a group of focus points).1 Rotate the focus selectorlock to ●.This allows the multi selector tobe used to select the focuspoint.2 Select the focus point.Use the multi selector to selectthe focus point in theviewfinder while the exposuremeters are on. The center focuspoint can be selected bypressing the center of the multiselector.The focus selector lock can berotated to the locked (L)position following selection toprevent the selected focuspoint from changing when themulti selector is pressed.Focus selector lock
