133ZP: Programmed AutoIn this mode, the camera automatically adjusts shutter speed andaperture according to a built-in program to ensure optimalexposure in most situations.A Flexible ProgramIn exposure mode P, different combinations ofshutter speed and aperture can be selected byrotating the main command dial while theexposure meters are on (“flexible program”).Rotate the dial to the right for large apertures(low f-numbers) that blur background details orfast shutter speeds that “freeze” motion. Rotatethe dial to the left for small apertures (high f-numbers) that increase depth of field or slowshutter speeds that blur motion. Allcombinations produce the same exposure.While flexible program is in effect, an asterisk(“U”) appears in the top control panel.
