This is used to increaseor decrease the exposure (making an image brighter or darker). There is also an aper-ture symbol above this button, because in the Manual shooting mode this button isused to change the aperture.The dial on the top of the camera is used to select the exposure mode.In the middle is the accessory shoe where an external flash unit can be attached.The D60 comes with a protective cover over the shoe.
