ENGLISH USER MANUAL8 FLOORTEC 560 P 146 2592 000(1)2005-03 AAFTER USING THE MACHINEAfter working, before leaving the machine:– Activate the filter-shaker by means of the handle (19,Fig. C).– Empty the hopper (16, Fig. C) (see instructions in theprevious paragraph).– lift the side broom by means of the handle (10, Fig. C)– remove the key (2, Fig. B) from the machine on/offswitch– ensure that the machine cannot move independently– activate the optional pedal brake (optional) (25, Fig.C)– Close the petrol tap (1, Fig. V) in the compartment(29, Fig. C).PUSHING THE MACHINEThe machine can be moved my pushing it both with theon/off key switch (2, Fig. B) in the 0 and in the I positions.MACHINE LONG INACTIVITYIf you foresee that the machine will not be used for morethan 30 days, proceed as follows:1. Check that the machine storage area is dry andclean.2. Lift the machine so that the skirts, the main broomand the wheels do not touch the ground.3. Treat the petrol engine according to the indications inthe related User Manual.FIRST PERIOD OF USEAfter the first period of use (first 8 hours) it is necessary tocarry out the following operations:1. Check that the fastening and connecting elementsare correctly tightened. Check that the visible partsare whole and that there are no leaks.2. After the first 20 hours of work, or after the first month,replace the petrol engine oil (see instructions in therelated User Manual).MAINTENANCEThe lifespan of the machine and its maximum operatingsafety are ensured by correct and regular maintenance.The following chart provides the scheduled maintenance.The intervals shown may vary according to particularworking conditions, which are to be defined by the personin charge of the maintenance.All scheduled or extraordinary maintenance operationsmust be performed by qualified personnel, or by anauthorised Service Center.This manual describes only the easier and most commonmaintenance procedures.For other maintenance procedures included in theScheduled Maintenance table, see the User's Manual forthe petrol engine and/or refer to the authorised ServiceCenters.WARNING!Maintenance operations must be carriedout with the machine off (on/off switch keyremoved). Moreover, read carefully theinstructions in the Safety chapter.
