Main filter shaker knobInspections prior to startingPrior to starting, check that:– The filters are installed;– all latches are tightly locked;– The hose and tools have been correctly fitted into inlet “F”(Fig. 5);– The bag or safety container are installed, if applicable.– Do not use the vacuum cleaner if the filter is faulty.Starting up– Lock the castor brakes “E” (Fig. 6) before starting thevacuum cleaner.– Move switch “B” (Fig. 6) to the On position (“I”).– If the vacuum cleaner has been working and then stopsand the indicator light “C” (Fig. 4) comes on, or if thevacuum cleaner motor turns in the wrong direction, turn itoff and turn the inverter “F”.Operating the vacuumFigure 71. RED ZONE2. GREEN ZONECheck the flow rate:– When the vacuum cleaner is operating, the pointer of thevacuum gauge “A” (Fig. 7) must remain in the green zone(OK) to ensure that the speed of the intaken air does notdrop below the safety value of 20 m/s.– If the pointer is in the red zone (STOP), it means that thespeed of the air in the hose is below 20 m/s and that thevacuum cleaner is not working in safety conditions. Cleanor replace the filters.– When the hose is blocked, the pointer of the vacuumgauge must switch from the green zone (OK) to the redzone (STOP).ATTENTION DANGER!If the vacuum cleaner is Class M or H, only use hoseswith diameters that comply with the indications in the“Technical Specifications” Table in order to prevent the airspeed from dropping below 20 m/s.ATTENTION DANGER!When the vacuum cleaner is operating, always check tomake sure that the vacuum gauge pointer remains in thegreen zone (OK).Consult the “Troubleshooting” chapter if faults occur.ATTENTION DANGER!Class H - “Asbestos” variant:– this variant has a 70 mm diameter exhaust where theexhaust hose is connected.Only D = 70 mm is tolerated.Only an exhaust hose with D = 70 mm and L < 5 m canbe used.Order the exhaust hose from the Manufacturer.– Shut the inlet with appropriate plug (Fig. 11) whenhandling (transporting) the vacuum cleaner.– Comply with all other prescriptions for class H vacuumcleaners.Shaking the main filterDepending on the quantity of dust cleaned up, shake the mainfilter by means of the knob “J” (Fig. 8) when the vacuum gaugepointer “A” (Fig. 7) switches from the green zone (OK) to the redzone (STOP).ATTENTION DANGER!Stop the machine before shaking the filter.Do not shake the filter whilst the machine is on as thiscould damage the filter itself.Wait before restarting the vacuum cleaner, to allow the dust tosettle.Replace the filter element if the pointer still remains in the redzone (STOP) even after the filter has been shaken (consult the“Main filter replacement” section).
