Recovery System 47Service Manual – Warrior ST, AXP, EcoFlexTroubleshootingWhenever there is a vacuum problem, it’s best to check over the entire system. Use the checklist below as aguide to thoroughly check the vacuum system.• Inspect and clean the vacuum motor float switch. Note that on current models, if the switch is closed(tipped up) the vacuum motor will not operate.• Inspect the vacuum motor inlet screen and clean any built-up debris from the screen.• Clean built-up dirt from the inside of the squeegee tool.• Replace the squeegee blades if they are nicked or torn.• Inspect the hose between the squeegee tool and the recovery tank and rinse any built-up dirt from thehose. Replace the hose if it is kinked or damaged.• Inspect and make sure the gasket on the recovery tank cover is sealing and not damaged.• Make sure that the recovery tank drain hose cap seals airtight.Problem Cause CorrectionNo suction Vacuum motor not running • Inspect the recovery tank float switch for properoperation• Check the vacuum motor circuit breaker• Check the vacuum motor contactor for properoperationPoor suction Clogged vacuum • Inspect and clean the vacuum motor inlet filter• Inspect the suction hose between the squeegeetool and the recovery tank• Inspect and clean the squeegee toolVacuum leaks • Inspect the gasket on the recovery tank cover• Inspection the suction hose between thesqueegee tool and recovery tank for looseconnection, holes, or damage• Inspect the squeegee blades for nicks, cuts, anddamage• Inspect the recovery tank drain hose and cap forleaks• Inspect the vacuum motor mount for leaks
