To ensure a correct connection, chassis sockets are labelled A andB:• Connect one cable from connector A on the amplifer toconnector A on the power supply unit• Connect the second cable from connector B on the ampliferto connector B on the power supply unitFollow these steps to connect the power supply and amplifer units:• Ensure the mains power cord isn’t connected to the powersupply unit!• Start with the A connection on the amplifer side: align thecable connector to the socket and screw the circularconnector in fully. If you have troubles making theconnection, ensure the two sides are lined up correctly.• Connect the other end of the cable to the A power supplyconnector and screw it in fully.• Repeat the steps above with the B connection, starting withthe amplifer then the power supply.NoteThe provided power cables have black and white colouredend sleeves to assist you in making the correctconnections but are internally and electrically identical.Audio input connectionsThe Arcus amplifer offers four XLR balanced inputs to connectanalog audio sources such as phono preamplifers, digital to analogconverters (DACs) and more.If you desire to use unbalanced sources, a simple RCA to XLRadapter will be sufcient.
