Contacts (phonebook)In Contacts, you can save and update contact information,such as phone numbers, home addresses, or e-mailaddresses of your contacts. You can add a personalringing tone or a thumbnail image to a contact card. Youcan also create contact groups, which allow you to sendtext messages or e-mail to many recipients at the sametime.Save and edit names andnumbers1. Press , and select Contacts > Options > Newcontact.2. Fill in the fields that you want, and select Done.To edit contact cards, scroll to the contact card you wantto edit, and select Options > Edit. You can also searchfor the desired contact by entering the first letters of thename to the search field. A list of the contacts startingwith the letters appear on the display.Tip: To add and edit contact cards, you can also useNokia Contacts Editor available in Nokia Nseries PCSuite.To attach a small thumbnail image to a contact card, openthe contact card, and select Options > Edit > Options >Add thumbnail. The thumbnail image is shown when thecontact calls.Manage names and numbersTo add a contact to a group, select Options > Add togroup (shown only if you have created a group).To check to which groups a contact belongs, select thecontact and Options > Belongs to groups.To delete a contact card, select a card, and press C.To delete several contact cards at the same time, selectOptions > Mark/Unmark to mark the desired contactcards, and press C to delete.To send contact information, select the card you want tosend, Options > Send, and the desired option.© 2008 Nokia.
