Profiles (Menu 3)Profiles define how your phonereacts when you receive a call ormessage, how your keypad soundswhen you press a key, and more.Ringing options, keypad tones, andother settings for each of theavailable profiles can be left at theirdefault setting, or personalised tosuit your needs. The followingprofiles are available: General,Silent, Meeting, Outdoor, and Pager.Profiles are also available forenhancements such as a headsetand car kit. Scroll to the option you want topersonalise (Incoming call alert,Ringing tone, Ringing volume,Vibrating alert, Light alert,Message alert tone, Keypadtones, Warning tones, Alert for, orProfile name) > Select.Note: You cannot rename theGeneral profile.■ Set a timed profileTimed profiles can be used toprevent missed calls. For example,suppose you attend an event thatrequires your phone be set to Silentbefore the event starts, but youforget to return it to General untillong after the event. A timed profilecan prevent missed calls byreturning your phone to the defaultprofile at a time you specify.Note: Timed profiles can beset up to 24 hours inadvance.1.
