Hold the phone as you wouldany other telephone with theantenna area pointed up and overyour shoulder.Note: As with any other radiotransmitting device, do nottouch the antennaunnecessarily when thedevice is switched on.Contact with the antennaaffects call quality and maycause the phone to operateat a higher power level thanotherwise needed. Avoidingcontact with the antennaarea when operating thephone optimises the antennaperformance and the batterylife.■ The batteryAlways switch the device off anddisconnect the charger beforeremoving the battery.Remove the back cover1. With the back of the phonefacing you, push down on thebutton on the back of the phone.2.
