The person you are calling cannot see your phone number ontheir caller ID.• USE AUTOMATIC REDIALThere are times when you may not be able to place a call (for example, during tohigh—traffic volume on the wireless network). When the wireless network is busyor unavailable, Automatic redial instructs your phone to retry the call.ACTIVATE AUTOMATIC REDIAL1 Press Menu > Settings > Call settings > Automatic redial.2 Scroll to On and press Select.If the system is busy, your phone makes three additional call attempts. If you wantto stop the automatic redial process before the last attempt, press the End key.Important: This feature does not automatically retry a number when the number youare calling is busy.• CALLING CARDIf you wish to use a calling card for long distance calls, you can first save yourcalling card information into your phone. Your phone is equipped to handle up tofour calling cards.Save card information1 Press Menu > Settings > Call settings > Calling card.2 Enter your security code, and press OK.For more information on security codes, see “Security code” on page 63.3 Scroll to one of the four memory locations, and press Options.4 Scroll to Edit, and press OK.5 Select Dialing sequence.Dialing sequence Use for cards that require you to:Access number + phone number+ card numberDial the 1-800 access number, phone number,and card number (+ PIN if required).Access number + card number+ phone numberDial the 1-800 access number, card number(+ PIN if required), and phone number.Prefix + phone number+ card numberDial the prefix, phone number, and card number(+ PIN if required).
