REMINDER MESSAGE FACILITYYou may enter a message (a name and/or a number),just before switching off the phone, and then have thatmessage recalled automatically when you next powerthe phone on (e.g. to remind you to make a call).When recalled, the reminder message is shown inalpha mode if there is a text part, otherwise in numbermode. You may clear, edit or store the message, orcall the number, by switching to number mode (pressABC if in name mode) and pressing SEND.To enter and store a reminder message:A Enter the number or name on the display asnecessary (press ABC to switch between numbermode and name mode). Alternatively, you couldrecall a number or name already stored.B Press MENU momentarily, then press and holdON. The phone switches off, and stores thereminder message automatically.When you next switch on the phone, the message willbe displayed (once); the message will then be erasedautomatically from memory, and will not appear whenyou switch on again.DISPLAYING YOUR OWN NUMBERYour own number, which is stored permanently inmemory location 99, is derived from NAM data whichhas been programmed by your dealer (you cannotchange the number).To recall your own number:A Press RCL 99.If your phone is registered on two networks, thenumber displayed will be that for the network currentlyused (and relates to the currently-selected NAM); referto ‘NAM Select (Menu 7)’, page 37.CHANGING THE WAKE-UP MESSAGEThe wake-up message is the message which isdisplayed briefly when the phone is switched on(the message relates to the currently-selected NAM).The wake-up message is normally a name (i.e. text),27
