Normally, this number is saved to your phone by your service provider. To savethe number manually, do the following:1 Select Menu > Messages > Message settings > Text messages > Sendingprofile > Default profile > Message center number.2 If the correct number displays, select OK or if the incorrect number displays,enter the number given by your service provider and select OK.• MULTIMEDIA MESSAGESThis is a Network Service. A multimedia message can contain text, picture andsound. The phone supports multimedia messages of size up to 45 KB.Note: Only devices that offer compatible multimedia message or e-mailfeatures can receive and display multimedia messages. Multimedia messageobjects may contain viruses or otherwise be harmful to your device or PC.Do not open any attachment if you are not sure of the trustworthiness ofthe sender.Multimedia messaging supports the following formats:• Picture: JPEG, GIF, PNG, OTA-BMP, and WBMP• Sound: SP-MIDI and monophonic ringing tonesYou are not able to receive any multimedia messages if you have a call in progress,a game or a Java application running, or an active service connection. Becausedelivery of multimedia messages can fail for a variety of reasons, do not rely solelyupon them for essential communications.Write and sendFor availability and subscription to the Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS),contact your service provider.1 Select Messages > Multimedia msgs. > Create message.2 Enter the text of your message and select Options.3 To insert a picture or a sound clip, select Insert image or Insert sound clip,respectively.4 Open the desired folder, scroll to the picture or sound clip, and selectOptions > Insert.5 To insert a name from Contacts, select Options > More options >Insert contact.6 Scroll to the desired name and select Options > Insert contact.
