The warranty period for the Phone (Radio)units and all enhancements (excluding carry cases) is twelve (12) months fromthe date of purchase OR fourteen (14) months from date of wholesale shipmentfrom Nokia, OR fifteen (15) months from the date of manufacture by Nokia. Thewarranty period for the Carry cases is three (3) months from the date of purchaseor five (5) months from the date of wholesale shipment from Nokia.During the warranty period, Nokia will, at its option, repair or replace thedefective product free of charge. Replacement Product may be either new orremanufactured or refurbished.However, if Nokia determines that the warranty conditions cannot be applied,the purchaser will be billed for the repair and shipping.EXCEPTIONSThis warranty is subject to the following exceptions:1 Mobile or fixed installation, which is not in accordance with the installationinstructions, published by Nokia, will void the warranty. Damage caused by arepair or an attempt to repair by other than a service centre authorized byNokia will void the warranty;2 This warranty covers normal consumer use and does not cover defects or damageto any product which, in the sole opinion of Nokia, has been subject to: improperstorage, exposure to moisture or dampness, exposure to fire, sand, dirt,windstorm, lightning, or earthquake; to theft, battery leakage, unauthorizedmodification, misuse, neglect, abuse, misapplication, accident, alteration,improper installation, maladjustment of consumer controls, or abnormaloperating conditions, or which has been attributable to acts of God;3 Fuses are not covered by the warranty;4 This warranty does not cover defects or damages caused by a product whichis not approved by Nokia to be connected to its wireless phone;5 This warranty does not cover defects or damages caused by improper ordefective function of the carrier system or by inadequate signal reception bythe antenna;6 Removal and reinstallation costs are not covered by this warranty;7 This warranty is applicable only to products bought through Nokia ProductsLtd. in Ajax, Ontario, Canada, and sold either in Canada or Bermuda.
