You need to save thisnumber to your device to use voicemail. When you receive a voicemessage, your device beeps, displays amessage, or both. If you receive morethan one voice message, your deviceshows the number of voice messagesreceived.Save voice mailbox numberYour wireless service provider ornetwork operator may have alreadysaved your voice mailbox number toyour device. Select OK to leave thenumber unchanged.1. In standby mode, select Menu >Messages > Voice messages >Voice mailbox number. The voicemailbox number is displayed.2. If the box is empty, enter the voicemailbox area code and number,and select OK.Call and setup voice mail1. After you save the voice mailboxnumber, in standby mode,press and hold 1.2. When you connect to voice mailand the prerecorded greetingbegins, follow the automatedinstructions to setup voice mail.Listen to voice messagesAfter you set up voice mail, in standbymode, press and hold 1; or selectMenu > Messages > Voice messages >Listen to voice messages to dial thevoice mailbox number. When youconnect and the prerecorded greetingbegins, follow the automatedinstructions to listen to your voicemessages.Automate voice mailYou can insert special characters calleddialling codes into phone numberssuch as voice mail, and save thenumber to a speed dial location.Dialling codes instruct the receivingsystem to pause, wait, bypass, oraccept the numbers that follow themin the dialling string.
