Media■ Media playerWith the media player you candownload, view, and play compatibleimages, audio and video files, andanimated images from a variety ofsources.The media player enables you to playstreaming videos and streaming audiofrom a network server. Streamingfunctionality is a network service andrequires network support. Check theavailability of these services, pricing,and tariffs with your network operatoror the service provider whose serviceyou want to use. Service providers willalso give you instructions on how touse their services.In standby mode, select Menu > Media> Media player and one of thefollowing:Open Gallery—Open the Gallery. FromGallery, you can play stored audio andvideo files. See "Gallery," p. 40.Go to address—Enter the address of amobile Internet service, and select OK.■ RadioYour phone has an FM radio that alsofunctions as an alarm clock radio. Tolisten to the FM radio on your phone,connect a compatible music stand orstereo headset to the connector on thebottom of the phone. The FM radiouses the wire of the headset as anantenna. A compatible headset needsto be attached to the device for the FMradio to function properly. The qualityof a radio broadcast depends oncoverage of the radio station in thatparticular area.Warning: Listen to music at amoderate level. Continuousexposure to high volume maydamage your hearing. Do nothold the device near your earwhen the loudspeaker is inuse, because the volume maybe extremely loud.Turn the radio on and off1. Connect the phone to a compatibleheadset or music stand.2. In standby mode, select Menu >Media > Radio. The channellocation number, the name of theradio channel (if you have savedthe channel), and the frequency ofthe radio channel are displayed.To use the graphical keys , ,, or on the display, scroll leftor right to the desired key, andselect it.
