If you choose Bluetooth for your connection,please note that the distance between devices in a Bluetooth connection is a range of up to 30 feet (10 meters). The connectionmanagement software for your Bluetooth-enabled PC must be running and a Bluetooth connection must be established betweenyour phone and PC.• INFRARED COMMUNICATIONSInfrared (IR) is one of the three available options for connecting your phone and PC. If you choose IR as your method of connection,please note that the distance between two devices in an infrared connection is a range of three inches to three feet maximum.There must be no obstructions between the two devices and the IR ports of the two devices have to be pointing at each other.Your Nokia phone is a Class 1 Laser Product.Enable infrared communicationsWindows Millennium Edition (ME), Windows 2000, and Windows XP (Home or Professional) users do not need to enable infraredcommunications on their PC prior to using this feature. The infrared port is always active.If you use Windows 98, you can use the infrared control panel to activate or deactivate infrared communications.
