You needthe PIN code to turn this requestfunction on. Some SM cards do notallow the PIN code request to beturned off.Call barring serviceWith this network service, you canrestrict the making and receiving ofcalls with your phone. For thisfunction you need the barringpassword.When you make a call while the callbarring is set on, the phone maydisplay a note reminding you of this.Fixed diallingThis service restricts your outgoingcalls to selected phone numbers, ifthis function is supported by yourSIM card. To set this function on oroff, or to save, edit or erase thenumbers on the list, you need tohave the PIN2 code.Closed user groupThis network service specifies thegroup of people to whom you canmake a call and who can call you.Default resets the phone to use auser group that the SIM card ownerhas agreed upon with the serviceprovider.Security levelYou can set the phone security levelon to avoid unauthorised use of thephone. You need the security code toset the security level. The availableoptions are:• None no security code is needed.• Memory security code is requiredwhen the phone book memory isselected.• Phone security code requiredwhen a new SIM card is inserted.Note that when you change thesecurity level, all the recent callslists are cleared.Change of access codesYou can change the following accesscodes: security code, PIN code, PIN2code and barring password. Thecodes can only include charactersfrom 0 to 9. The phone asks you tokey in the current code and the newcode. It also asks you to confirm thenew code by keying it in again.
